Kokuzoku, Hazama||Konoha's Chuunin E565d2724a17dc5f7b7cb18806df58881a5
Full Name: Kokuzoku, Hazama
First Name: Hazama
Last Name: Kokuzoku
Nickname: Aoi-kun [meaning green: referring to his hair colour]
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Appearance: Hazama's appearance is that of a shady, creepy individual. He is perhaps the only being whose hair is bright green, and thus he stands out from the crowd instantly. With an ever present smirk upon his lips and his amber eyes looking dangerous from beneath the green mess, Hazama looks like a pretty strange fellow. Rather than sporting the usual shinobi outfit, he wears a simple black suit with a white shirt underneath. To add to the odd image, he also wears brown gloves and brown steel-toed shoes, which produce a ringing, metallic sound whenever they touch upon the alleys of Konoha. He also dons a pair of black trousers which are held up by two brown belts - both, which have holsters filled with projectiles and other shinobi equipment attached to them. Though he is a chuunin and therefore he should always wear his vest, that is never the case or at least, he doesn't wear it openly. Hazama does put it on, however it can only be found hidden underneath all the clothing; this also applies to his headband, which he dons as an armband which is wrapped tightly around his right arm - his stronger arm.

Although Hazama appears like a fairly scary person, he is most easily misunderstood. His face though initially hostile, often brightens up whenever he smiles though the gesture always seems a little forced at best. His eyes often remain closed, which gives the impression of a fairly sly personality however that depends on how one interprets him. Often, his facial expressions as clear as day light and whether he is angry or sad, one can always tell just by how earnest his face can be. Although Hazama doesn't blush often, his pale complexion usually gives him away even as the slightest blush can be seen.

The young man is quite thin and tall with very sharp features giving him a slightly skeletal appearance. His clothes hide the fact that Hazama is muscular and they also hide the fact that his body is painted with scars, often new ones covering up the old ones. Under his shirt and fancy suit, Hazama wears a simple tank top, his chuunin vest and armband. Whenever he is about to fight with a powerful opponent, he will make sure to remove all the silly attire to present himself in this style. At that point, he will also take out a pitch black beanie hat that he will wear. This often invites anger from the opponent, as many people think of this as disrespectful... however on the contrary, the hat is a personal effect of his, as his sensei once wore it and gave it to him, as a present.

Height: 5 ft 10 in||175cm
Weight: 143 lb||65 kg
Personal Preference: Female
Personal Effects: "A Black Beanie Hat" - belonged to his sensei||wears in serious fights as a good luck charm.
Spoiler:
Phobia: Gerascophobia||Fear of Growing Old

Personality: Hazama's personality is a one that is hard to describe and understand. At most times and despite his appearance, the young man acts very ordinary, always polite and smiling and warm - kind and respectful to others. He thinks before he speaks and speaks when it's his turn to do so, and always honours and acknowledges a superior shinobi and shows respect to them. He is a fairly sociable person, however is never really the centre of attention though he doesn't strive to be one either. Hazama is often capable of being funny and yet also uses sarcasm and can be a little too honest, however that depends on the situation as much as it depends on the people he is around with. When with friends, Hazama allows himself to be a little more relaxed and earnest about how he feels, but on the contrary, with girls he tries to be charming and act like he is simply perfect... though that backfires quite a lot.
Because of all this, Hazama could be seen as a decent, easy-going guy who is loyal and very well mannered, and who would follow orders and protect the village, and who would perhaps even die trying to do both of these... now that is all well, but truly, is that the real face of Hazama?

Perhaps not. What gives him away is the subtle strain placed on every smile and every cheerful expression. Though he is indeed pretty carefree and polite, Hazama has a... darker side to him, and though that is very common with any shinobi, his is much different in that sense. Where as many of his peers consist of a controlled side and a one, that is angry and very rash, Hazama is not like that at all. His other side bathes in darkness, but is not chaotic and instead - frighteningly so - is very silent and calm: calculating and decisive. Cruel. His nice smile turns into the slyest of smirks, and his amber eyes become slits that appear like the eyes of a serpent. Shadows seem to manifest within those yellow irises, and those shadows also spread to his face, as it contracts to show off just a bit of the evil he is sometimes capable of. When truly angered, Hazama can go to all sorts of lengths... and though he has yet to kill with cold blood, many believe it to be possible.

Due to this, Hazama can be seen as one of the more mysterious shinobi of Konoha, since it is just so unclear as to how much his darker side is his true self. His strained smile and often closed eyes combined with his politeness and kind demeanour... are they real or just an act? They sure present a very contrasting impression and make it very difficult to discern his real personality. After all, many find his appearance rather unsettling and there are very few who are willing to trust him on first impressions alone, thus surely he has to make up for it by being the nice guy that he acts to be... however sometimes, Hazama seems to be fully aware of the effect and he exploits it and toys with this, thus showing that he is also fully aware of his darker side... but what is his true self? Does he even know... or is he even more complex than that... surely not.

Origin: Nami no Kuni||The Country of Waves
Ninja Village: Konohagakure no sato||The Hidden Leaf Village

Rank: Chuunin

Blood Line/Clan: -

Character's History: Hazama was a born to a family of shinobi, who each had somehow proven themselves as great warriors whether they had fought in the shinobi war or else, and because of this, huge expectations were placed on the young boy. His green hair was taken as a sign from God himself, and his proud family interpreted that te so-called sign meant that he was to be special and grow powerful, and make his family proud. Thus from a very young age truly, Hazama was placed under a strict and ruthless training regime. This is where most of his scars hail from.

Hazama's father was one of the many shinobi, who had fought in the Second Great Shinobi war and later on, against the demons that invaded the world. Just before the Second Great Shinobi War broke out, he heard rumours that something bad was about to happen and in the spur of the moment, decided to take his family to the safety of Hi no Kuni which was a bigger and stronger country. He expected that it would protect his family better and perhaps provide a better future for his son. The family settled in a small insignificant village out of harm's way and waited out the war, whilst Hazama's father returned to the Wave Country to serve under it's banner. During the Second Shinobi War, he became to a certain extent, a hero and was greeted back as such. Later when the demons came, he was assigned a regiment however his decision to aid Hi no Kuni's forces was a grave mistake, for the Daimyo believed that Hazama's father's was a traitor and when he came back, tried to assassinate him. Luckily though, the man survived and ran away to his family in Hi no Kuni, never to come back to the Wave Country ever again.

The Hi no Kuni was a much different environment for Hazama to grow up in and though his harsh training continued, the people here were more carefree and cheerful despite the war going on in the background. Recognised as the son of a hero, he led a half-happy, half-miserable life and though he always had friends and ones who he could trust and confide in, the boy never told anyone what he was doing and spent a lot of time alone, preferring seclusion over the chatter of voices. Despite all the expectations, Hazama was never considered a child prodigy and was much like all the other children of his age, thus inviting anger from his parents. However indifferent and a little annoyed at their attitude, the boy took a liking to running away from his home and often found shelter in the house of a particular friend - his childhood love. Though neither of the children understood the feelings that they had for each other, those emotions would soon develop and as they matured into young adults, Hazama would finally come to understand everything. Why she was always happy to see him... why she gave her life away to protect him... for on a cold December evening, when the two wondered the nearby forests looking for hints of wolf activity nearby (she had always been fascinated with wild animals, and he simply tagged along happy to be spending time with her), out of nowhere, a black figure come out of nowhere, it's sharp teeth and deadly claws glowing threateningly in the moon light. It came at him, but she was faster than the creature and yet didn't know what to do... how to react differently, than simply jump in the harm's way. And she did so willing to die for his sake, and die she did... but not before the shock, pain and anger hit him, and in pure rage, he took out every tiny bit of those emotions on the creature, as its blood mixed with that of the dying girl's.

From then on, Hazama had changed and there was no turning back. He trained harder than ever and vowed that he would never allow anybody that was dear to him die. However he failed to uphold that vow and not soon after, he watched his house burn down to ashes. Before his eyes, the flames licked the wood that formed his home and as he watched the flickers of red take in everything within, his anger was let out again... this time there was no one to aim it at, and eventually, the anger just succumbed into a painful memory. For days and weeks he searched for traces and causes, and yet he couldn't find any. There was no clue as to whether his parents had died in the fire or had they escaped... but the result was the same - he was alone, truly alone. He had no one to turn to, nor nothing that even kept him to the Fire Country and yet he stayed, holding on to the memories of his father's tales. Knowing that he had to carry on his family's tradition, he travelled to the nearest city, and as he was at the young age of 12, found the nearest shinobi dwelling and begged the young man that opened the door to take him in as a student and an apprentice. Eventually, the man agreed and became his sensei. He would go on to teach him everything about being a shinobi, and though they differed in the sense that his teacher was a member of the great clan that was the Uchiha, soon, Hazama would be able to match the power that was the sharingan. He grew very close and attached to his sensei, and they developed a brotherly bond. Though the young man's family didn't approve of the orphan joining their midst, eventually, Hazama became one of them though not by name. He wanted to hold on to the only thing left after his parents. His last name.

Once the shinobi village formed, the over-trained, over-praised and over-eager boy set out alongside his brother to pass all his tests with flying colours and graduate in a matter of days. His sensei had made sure that Hazama was more than capable of becoming a chuunin, before they even entered Konoha. Thus it was no wonder how quickly the boy advanced. It took him a year to tick all the necessary boxes required for him to qualify for the chuunin test and he eventually took it with ease, becoming a chuunin at sixteen. Quite a feat. Not soon after, his sensei congratulated him by giving him a present that was no other, but the beanie hat which his so-called 'brother' always wore. Though it might have meant little to everyone else, Hazama treasured the gift. It has become his good luck charm after all.

Nice history but your history greatly conflicts with the story line. Please check out the story line, and try to follow it similar to that of a guideline.

I edited to say that the family moved to the Fire Country as the Second Shinobi war broke out, so he would have been about 8/9 at the time.
