The Beginning

The Ninja World

The beginning of the ninja world was the beginning of pandemonium and the beginning of even greater suffering. An extreme few know of the first original shinobi and how he truly created the three fundamental forms of Jutsu (Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu). Before him or any other ninja, the world utilized the samurai as their main form of militia. It was much less bloodshed during the era of the samurai, as samurais had less killing potential than most shinobis seem to possess. However, it was quite some time after the news of the first shinobi's death spread across the world before ninjas became more renown for their killing potential. Soon samurais were quickly replaced by them. The world had a new tool and they were called shinobis. Shinobis were only used as hired guns, as they could be hired by anyone to perform any task the person wanted for the right price. As competition for ninjas being hired grew most ninjas soon formed families or "Clans" to work together and essentially gain more money. These clans were hired by Feudal Lords or "Daimyos" to help them with their agendas, such as conquering new lands and attacking their enemies. As a Feudal Lord controlled a Country whether it be large or small, they wished to acquire more territory. Instead of utilizing samurais they used these clans of ninjas to fight for them. The abuse of shinobis soon led to the beginning of The First Great Shinobi War. This destructive war would last for approximately 15 years. During this war even greater rivalries emerged between clans, as ninja clans who were used most often gained more money and were far more respected.

These rivalries led to some clans creating special Ninpos that could only be taught within these ninja clans, to gain an advantage over their rival clans. These special clans were praised for their abilities however, not as much as the ninja clans who were somehow able to naturally develop a certain blood inheritance ability that were soon called Kekkei Genkais or "Blood Inheritance Limit", though there were already a few preexisting Kekkei Genkais at the time. Clans with Kekkei Genkais and special Ninpos soon became the favorite amongst Feudal Lords. Many of these clans were mainly hired by a certain Feudal Lord however, some clan members did not stay loyal to their clan and decided to branch out to other countries for higher payment. Quickly some Feudal Lords began to seek the potential and skills of certain clans over others and pleaded many to permanently reside within their country for the permanent usage of their abilities for the war. This would also stop other clan members from leaving their country and leave their country with permanent usage of their special abilities.

Quickly many clans grew tired of fighting and of the war, they soon wanted to live in peace and decided to permanently reside in one country. These clans formed their own villages which were known as Ninja Villages however, they were not in control of the country they resided in. Feudal Lords were in control of the entire country and even had high political influence inside these Ninja Villages. The formation of these Ninja Villages ended The First Great Shinobi War, as these Ninja Villages allowed other shinobis to live there in peace. During the founding of these villages many Feudal Lords agreed only one country could house one Ninja Village as multiple Ninja Villages in one country would cause strain on the countries economy. However, after the war some countries were not as fortunate to have a Ninja Village, as their economy was to poor to sustain one. Many of these countries still gained a large militia of Samurais and other forgotten forms of warriors, and hired ninjas from Ninja Villages in other countries. On the surface it appeared the struggle to gain land had ended as the ninjas inside these villages only wished for peace and were tired of the years of fighting, and Feudal Lords had to accept that.

However, as some of the current Ninja Villages grew in power and wealth many other lesser villages grew annoyed of their struggling situations. This led to jealousy and bad relations between many of the villages, some grew stronger by creating alliances while some grew weaker due to their stubborn behavior of trying to stay unaligned to any other village. After 28 years of peace and built up anxiety between different Ninja Villages, the tension could be felt by all Countries. The Feudal Lords used the villages built up anxiety in the hopes to gain more territory and more power by creating more animosity between the Ninja Villages for a new war.

Those Feudal Lords who wished for war got their wish, because after 28 years of peace, The Second Great Shinobi War broke out. The braking point of the tension that caused this war was when The Land of Earth's largest bridge was destroyed by unknown shinobis. However, this war would be far more destructive than any other war anyone had ever seen. Four years into this war strange animal like demons appeared throughout the world creating havoc and mayhem, to all countries that stood in their way. Most ninjas wished to gain control of the power that the demons possessed in hopes to gain the upper hand over their opponents. Some accomplished their goals and some were defeated by the fearsome demons. Those who had gained control of the demons were able to annihilate their enemies with ease however, once villages began utilizing the demons in that manner, all the demons had mysteriously disappeared. It was extremely unusual as creatures that large could not just disappear. Over time many rumors of what had happened to the creatures began circulating. The disappearance of the demons caused the feuding villages to lose their will to fight as their strongest power had vanished.

The three strongest villages (Konohagakure, Kirigakure, and Kumogakure) at the time wished for peace again as the demons were gone, and began holding peace agreements in neutral lands. This led to a swift agreement and these three villages were now considered Main Ninja Villages in the agreement. Though they were already leaders of their villages they were not considered "Kages" until the peace agreement was struck. With this agreement other ranks were also created such as ANBU and Sannin. The influence of the larger countries peaceful stand, led to the remaining of the world to follow their lead and cease their senseless fighting, ending the brief yet destructive 6 year war. Now the Ninja World is finally peaceful again however, in the world of shinobis peace is never long.
