Appearance: Kenichi is tall, athletic, and has a medium-build. He is not chubby, nor is he exactly scrawny. He stands at a rather imposing six feet tall, and his uniquely mismatched eyes (his right eye being a steely gray, his left eye a striking violet in hue) hold within them quite confidence and dedication to his village. Ken chooses to dress different from most shinobi, preferring more stylish attire such as suits and button-up dress shirts and slacks. He does mostly wear the typical shinobi sandals, and any specifics on his appearance may be seen in the image provided.

Personality: Kenichi is quiet, calm, and analytical. His intellect is such that even the Nara clan might be envious, and his quiet demeanor has made more than one person label him "dark and mysterious", though in truth he is quiet laid back and friendly once you get to know him. He likes taking naps and reading/studying/training as opposed to...well...anything else. He treats everyone (even his enemies) with respect, and only trusts a few people in his day-to-day life. His love of books and quiet demeanor have earned him the affections of one Kirigakure kunoichi in particular.

Character's History: Yuushiro was born in the Hidden Mist Village, but was born while his parents (a pair of merchants) were on the move. This resulted in the couple traveling with their newborn, and eventually the caravan stumbled upon a group of powerful swordsmen while touring the outskirts of the Land of Water. This rogue group of swordsmen mercilessly attacked the caravan and slaughtered all of the merchants...including Yuushiro's parents, who were both shinobi of the Mist village.

The only survivor of the attack, Yuushiro was spared for some uknown reason...simply put, the band of swordsmen took pity on the child...but the chief of this band of bandits was actually interested in training the infant Yuushiro as an apprentice to himself as the most skilled swordsman of the group. So, Yuushiro -barely knowing his parents- was taken under the wing of the entire group, but especially so in the case of the leader. The leader had shown little emotion for others before, but in the young child's eyes there had been no fear nor sadness even as he watched his own parents die before his very eyes. It was this fearless nature that peaked the interest of the bandit swordsmen and their leader.

Now effectively apprenticed by these wandering swordsmen of the Mist, Yuushiro grew up to himself possess formidable skill with the blade. He learned how to be agile and strong; how to flawlessly blend the two into a powerful art of swordsmanship. He learned to be ruthless and cunning, to combine the greatest elements of being a swordsman with being a shinobi. It did not take long for him to rise through the ranks of the group, through means that were quite legitimate...meaning, he used his knifing nature and prowess with the blade to one-up his superiors, gradually coming of age both physically and symbolically as he inherited the master's sword.

What no one ever realized...what the bandits failed to see...was that his entire life had been planned out by not the group of swordsmen, but by himself. Over the years, he had learned how to hide his emotions very well...in fact, he was taught that very skill by his "master" and those above him in the group. He used this talent to also hide him ambition: revenge on the swordsmen for taking the lives of his real "family". At age fifteen, with as much skill as the "master", Yuushiro slaughtered the whole group of swordsmen with little difficulty. Afterwards, with nowhere left to go or turn to, he returned to the one place he knew his skills could be put to use: Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist. The Mizukage welcomed him quite hospitably, even moreso after hearing of Yuushiro's tragic past and his lifelong experience with the dreaded "Mistblade" group.

Recently, Yuushiro has proposed to the Mizukage the idea of forming a group of swordsmen specialist to be known as: "The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist", and has requested authority over this still-assembling group.
