Appearance: Ayumu has deep gray, usually messy and forms around his head band. However along with his headband he tends to wear his hat over it there is nothing special about it. He just likes to wear it. While when you look into his eyes they are nothing special just hazel shaded. He is often told they are eyes similar to a lost puppy. Or an infant that can't figure out how you took his/her nose. He wears a brown denim like jacket over his white shirt. Ayumu is short and doesn't have the greatest sense of style. However he cares not on what people think of him physique wise. Especially since he isn't the strongest and tallest guy. He has very few muscles he can be mistaken as a scrawny person rather then in shape.

Personality: Ayumu, is an incredibly optimistic person who feels everyone has good within them. Or that no one can do a wrong, for an example if someone was going on a killing spree, most would say that was a bad thing. However if his daughter was killed by those people and was being avenged through her dead eyes it would be a good thing. No one can really argue for what is good and what is bad. Thus Ayumu would hear everyone out rather then say "I am right everyone else is wrong." Anything is possible so why not shoot for that shooting star in the sky?

Ayumu is protective to all of his friends, even if that isn't' many of them. In fact not just friends to all of his loved ones. If they're in danger then he will be in danger as well! Risking his neck to do anything for them, while people may see this as unselfish he takes a look at himself and thinks of it as just being a 'friend'. In a nut shell he when needing to be the protective one, he is willing to die.

Ayumu doesn't have much special about him. The difference though is he is different! He claims no one in this world is like him. If you need him to be there he will be there, have an impossible task? Well just know with Ayumu on it, its possible now. He is like a ray of hope or a ray of darkness to people. Making the situation either better or worse it just seems to be his dumb luck.

Character's History:
Ayumu is the the third born male in the family. With that making him the second youngest, next to his younger sister Yuki. While life wasn't the best it wasn't the worst for the whole Etsuko family. It was a nice way to be brought up, always having their parents at home. Neither were shinobi, so why is it that two of the four children were already genin? Perhaps from the cold fact the father was a carpenter and was always drunk, and a mother who was at home simply letting her husband do whatever he pleased. There were nights when she'd be beaten, which possibly drove the first two children to become shinobi. To protect those that are close.

As Ayumu grew older he noticed more and more, from the beatings he'd get to his mother then his elder brothers leaving. Why would his mother just take hits like that? Or bother putting up with someone like him? Hell why did he have to put up with it at the age of seven? Eventually he'd come to ask his mother this question that he had itching from himself for ages. Her simple reply was "When you love someone enough... You don't care how much pain you're in." To love someone that much? Why would you care about someone that doesn't show their love? Maybe, Ayumu's mother just saw something deeper something other people didn't see. The little candle in the middle of purity behind all of this 'torture.' Although they do say time heals all wounds... Which eventually it did when Ayumu started the academy.


Upon reaching the academy, Ayumu didn't have a clue on what to think it would be like. Though it was an escape for him, but what about his younger sister? She was stuck with their parents all alone, at least when he was there she was there. A bad gut feeling to have on the first day of the academy. Which was why he didn't make a good impression on anyone! Not even sensei, with a huff back home he somewhat realized he was a failure. No friends and not even competent at shinobi work. Although that may have been a bit too early to state something so bad on the first day.

As day two came around he still had no friends nor a specialty that made him stand out in the crowd. He was just... well average. Nothing to bring him out of the crowd, in fact if anything he was below average. Only able to excel at physical activity and fail miserably at written exams. This was the pattern that continued through most of his time at the academy. Very rarely he would do good on a written exam, though he was often accused of cheating. It matters not if hew as accused the point being was he didn't lie and he didn't cheat!

Coming home from the academy was different though, to see his sister scared out of her mind from their father. That shouldn't be a living condition for her. Why didn't any of his older brothers take her out of here? Clenching his fist he spoke clearly he was going to do just as his brothers did. Once becoming a genin he would get his own place and take his younger sister with him. Unlike his brothers he wasn't gonna leave someone behind. His mother made her choice to love him enough to go through this, that wasn't going to be his decision nor Yuki's. Though becoming a genin was a long way away. When that day would come though he'd be out of there.


After completing his exam Ayumu didn't change much, though he did keep his promise getting his younger sister out of there.

Goal: Ayumu's goal in life at the moment it to keep his younger sister safe. Give her a better life, while also proving everyone he is more then just some punk.
