Appearance: Ryu eyes are filled with determination. He has brown hair which match with his eyes. He always wears a black suit-like jacket along with a white button up shirt on the bottom with long black dress pants. He wears a brown arm band on his right arm which was given to him by his adopted mother.

Personality: Ryu is a very nice guy, with a funny sense of humor who enjoys to read books, train and have fun. He can be immensely serious during a battle. Will most likely be a smart butt when he’s bored.

Character's History: Ryu was born and raised within the borders of Kiri no Sato. His life was filled with ups and downs but he walked forward leaving despair behind. At the age of 5 he found a strange Interest in human blood. His thirst for blood haunted him throughout his life, when he turned 8 his mother left him at an orphanage and never returned. His anger and blood lust grew, until one day a women came to the orphanage. She had a smile which purified all evil from within. The next day she adopted the boy and took him home. She cared for him and fed him. He felt as though she was his real mother. All of the boy’s hatred vanished and was replaced with love.
After a year of living with his new mother, he was enrolled in the academy. His intelligence surpassed many of the children, because of that the older kids decided to pick on him. He lived in fear for those three years. Time after time the teachers watched the poor child in pain. Ryu’s always ran home with bruises, until one day she (by she I mean ryu’s adopted mother) was tired of seeing the poor boy getting picked on. Ms.Rikousu stepped through the academy doors with Ryu hiding behind her. The boys laughed at the child as he stood behind the women. Suki looked at the children with a tender smile “Are you guys the ones who’ve been making fun of my son?” The boys felt guilty and nodded. Her smile faded “Next time you guys touch him he won’t be the only one crying. Do we understand each other?” The boys nodded and ran off crying. Ever since then Ryu was never messed with again.
On Ryu’s 12th birthday, Suki handed him a present. Ryu smiled and grabbed the present. The paper wrap was gone within seconds, Tears swelled up in the poor boys eyes. Inside the present was a Kiri headband. The teacher chuckled at ryu’s expression “Congrats kid, you passed.”
That day was once of Ryu’s happiest moments of his life. He lived a happier life since then. He continued training hard and reading up on the lightning element. As he progressed in his training, the chunin exam closed in. four years have passed since his graduation from the academy. His knowledge had increased and his mother was very proud of his improvements. Ryu took up jobs as an assistant teacher or a substitute at the academy, striving to learn more about the ninja world. When he wasn’t studying, he was off on another mission. His team captain had foreseen a bright future for the kid. He sent the boys records to the mizukage. The kage’s eyes brightened at the boy’s records. He quickly registered him into the chunin exams. Within a months period Ryu had gone through the parts of the exam. Part one was the written exam, part two was the search for a certain item, part three was the battle. Ryu had doubted his abilities but at the end he rose above the other and succeeded in passing the exam.
Ryu had now earned the title of Kiri Chunin. He ran home to explain the exciting new to Suki. She was as excited as him. A few weeks after he became a teacher at the academy and continues his duties as a chunin, striving to become better.
