Height Being that Ketsu is a twenty-one-year old male, his height of five foot eleven is just about average. The typical height for his group is that of five foot nine or five foot ten, which makes him be just slightly above that average. However, with how he wears his clothes and the way he normally stands, the boy usually looks about five foot eight or five foot nine depending on the given situation. With his height, he's completely proportional in every degree, having slightly longer and larger arms and legs, as well as broader shoulders.
Weight With a body-mass index of twenty-one and one tenth, Ketsu's weight of one-hundred-fifty-one pounds makes him perfectly fit. His weight is a combination of his fat and his muscle, although the muscle is more prominent by far. His body type is considered Mesomorphic; as such, he has well-defined muscles and large bones. The torso tapers to a relatively narrow and low waist. The bones and muscles of the head are prominent. Features of the face are clearly defined, such as cheek bones and a square, heavy jaw. The face is long and broad, and is cubicle in shape. Arms and legs are developed and even the digits of the hand are muscled.
Physical Features Ketsu's hair is a small phenomenon, naturally spiking upwards the way he normally wears it. Platinum blond in color, the hair compliments his oceanic blue eyes, which look gentle enough that he could literally force the ocean to do his bidding. When he's irritated or focused, the moisture in his eyes makes it almost look like they are glowing a much lighter blue than they are. His body is mostly free of any scars or marks, although there is a band of green thorns around his left bicep which he keeps covered by his sleeve. His skin is tanned gentle, having a balanced amount of pigmentation in it. At his arms, his muscles are somewhat averagely sized, but are more highly detailed and defined, clearly marking just where they are. Aside from the wolf head piercing in his left earlobe, his body is free of any visible piercings or anything to that effect. His neck is barren of any necklaces not because he doesn't like them, but instead because he has yet to find something that fits him. The wolf's head in his earring is symbolic towards him: he's a loner, sometimes feeling abandoned by those around him, but he works just as well in packs. Originally he was going to go with a lion's head for valor, but he felt it was too overplayed.
Clothing Three major things revolve around Ketsu's appearance. The first is his upper body, the second is his waist, the third is his lower body. At his upper body, Ketsu has developed a special style of dressing that is unique to him alone. This involves a black turtleneck shirt with a zipper up the middle; however, the shirt is a little different. He wears it with the sleeve on the right being completely cut off from his armpit to shoulder, right along that seam. The left arm actually has a different sleeve sewn on, making it far more baggy than it normally would be. This baggage allows him to cover up the green thorns on his arm, which he was always told were a disease. His waist has the spawning point of two separate buckles, both of which lead to wrapping over Ketsu's right shoulder and around his waist. The hold a half-skirt in its place at the left side of his waist, which conceals the pouch of ninja tools he carries around. His pants are a denim-like material without the texture or wear of denim, yet with its resistance. His entire outfit is a dark blue in color.

Oneirophobic [Fear of Dreams] For reasons known only to Ketsu himself, he's had a very long fear of dreaming. There's a small pill that he'll take from time to time that negates all dreams he gets, but it's not common. When he does dream, they are always nightmares that cause him to wake up in a cold sweat and panting over it.
Personality:
Neutral Good [Alignment] Neutral Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would.
Men With men, for as long as he's been able to remember, Ketsu has always looked at people as a sort of big brother figure, even if he's younger than they are. It's just what's embed into his skull, although he doesn't know why. That said, he still have jealousy problems and a short fuse when it comes to males; he works on this every once in awhile, but he's known to have low patience.
Women With women, for as long as he's been able to remember, Ketsu has always looked at people as a sort of big brother figure, even if he's younger than they are. That said, this thought is far more prominent with women and is treated as such. He's extremely chivalrous and patient with women, counteracting his short temper with men. He doesn't often get jealous of women no matter their abilities, and therefore he is considered to be slightly sexist by some. However, he's a charming fellow.
Superiors People that are stronger than he is to any degree have earned that right. He does not talk back to them, usually, and will instead abide to their desire. Not always, though, but a majority of the time. That said, he treats people who are stronger than he is as though they are rivals, attempting to get even stronger than they are in the long run. Once he gets stronger than they are, he will forever treat them as an equal, even if they get stronger than he is or weaker to any degree. They've earned that right.
Equals Equals are how he treats most people, male or female, be they stronger or weaker than him to a certain degree. People that fall under this category end up be treated with respect. Ketsu treats most equals not unlike he treats superiors to an extent; he still has the friendly rivaling with them, but spends time bonding rather than trying to outmatch them.
Inferiors Inferiors actually receive quite a bit of respect, even though Ketsu doesn't need to do so. They are treated much like a doctor treats his patients, with careful respect. He has nothing to fear from Inferiors, and therefore they do not phase him. Instead, he hopes that by treating them the way he does they'll look at him as a Superior, which causes them to work to get better than him. Even if they never do, Ketsu will still cause them to get stronger and stronger, which helps his village in the long run.
All To everyone, Ketsu is a very analytic person. He constantly analyzes everything he sees, even to the point of over-analysis. Everyone and everything he sees is categorized and labeled, thrown into its own little holding cell until its needed. He's considered a genius by some due to his hyperactive logical reasoning; out of the three methods, he specializes deduction, but has abilities in abduction and induction. It's also well known in his social circle that he is Oneirophobic [afraid of dreams].
Relationships Ketsu's ability to form relationships is almost uncanny. He has a natural knack for being able to pick the right thing to say in order to gain the affection of people, though not always in an emotional way. He's a very charismatic person, and for that reason is more than able to lead the ICARUS group just by convincing others to work with him under any extent. Most people who he has work for him tend to stick around if only to see his true ideals when it comes to just about any aspect of light. All in all, he's an interesting guy.
Fighting When in fights, there's two differences depending on who he's fighting. Depending on his classifications, his fighting style will change severely. For people who are inferiors, Ketsu will not take the fight seriously at all and will only toy around with them until he gets bored of it. When he's fighting and equal or superior, however, Ketsu doesn't play around and takes things seriously, even to the point of it being dangerous. During this stage, it's very difficult to calm him down, and his blood flows so fast that wounds actually heal lightly faster than normal and scab over relatively quickly during this state... though, really it's just an illusion. He's perfectly normal.
Mental Stability Ketsu's mental stability is adequate at best. In truth, he's extremely unstable both mentally and emotionally, though he's very good at hiding the both of them. He's not bipolar against what might be said, and is very good at keeping his cool under almost any situation; but, when he loses said cool, he's very difficult to work with and is damn near impossible to make rational again. At times, he turns completely mute and antigenius that he almost seems like a statue.
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. It was not unlike this type of event that occurred within the nomadic tribe of the Alesana family. Their family was very gentle and very small, only having enough power to have their clan leader decide where they were going to settle down and live their life. This leader’s name was Ketsueki, and he was the only person within the tribe who was able to manipulate his chakra to any remote degree. He allied his tribe within a village around thirty years ago.
Within the tribe, Ketsueki was renowned for his skill. Even within the village, he became rather well known to an extent. His abilities surpassed nearly all who opposed him, but there was an extent. Higher ranks of the Uchiha clan found out about his love with Uchiha Rai, killing him. Rai gave birth to a child, named Ketsu, but resentfully gave him up to the Alesana clan, after which she committed suicide. Unbeknownst to his Uchiha heritage due to anonymity, the Alesana clan raised him as one of their own. He was treated with a lesser authority due to being an outcast to the clan. For that reason, as he grew up he was dismissed from the other members of the clan, the other Alesana. He tried his hardest, though, and in the end did what he could to fit in. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out too well. When he was seven years old, Ketsu graduated from the academy.
There are no records of what happened during his Genin years, though it’s unknown why. All that is unknown is that he was discovered to have Uchiha heritage within his body due to unlocking the Sharingan; when this was discovered, he became the new clan leader, since the old ones knew that he was the son of Ketsueki and it was his rightful position. Placing an older friend in charge though he’d still have final say on big decisions, Ketsu left the Alesana clan partially. At twelve years old, he was promoted to Chuunin status due to saving the life of three children on a mission that he wasn’t even assigned to. For that bravery, he was promoted and given new abilities.
Just two years later, at fourteen, he heard of the largest bridge within the land of earth being destroyed, and was one of the first to predict war was to be afoot. Not incorrect, he did what he could to aide in the war and fought alongside his fellow nin, having advanced his Sharingan. During that war, though the specific reasons and details are also lost, he was promoted to Jounin status. The war lasted for quite awhile, but as soon as it was over he forced the Alesana group to abandon their old village in order to help with the rising of Konohagakure, the nearest and, in his opinion best, of the villages. He’d avoided the Kyuubi, if only because he knew he wasn’t strong enough to post a threat.
When the Konohagakure village was founded, he was inducted into the ANBU, an elite group of shadows that obeyed the Hokage’s every command. Ketsu himself was perhaps one of the best of these people, but he’d refused Captain status twice within the year and a half that the ANBU have existed. Though he’s a part of the ANBU, he only states that he’s a normal Jounin and his ANBU’s loyalty tattoo is not shown anywhere on his body, but is on his left leg. He considered himself the best servant of the Hokage.
However, all good things come to an end. Ketsu's ambitions changed rapidly and drastically; he did not understand what was going on in the least, but at the same time was fully aware of it. In short, he was changing completely and fully to a whole new person and kicking the person he was in the past out the door. It was with this in mind that he finally gathered up the courage to speak to the Hokage and talk to him about what to do.
The Hokage and him spoke for what seemed like forever, though it was barely a few hours. Eventually, Ketsu was able to hint at his ambitions growing past the borders of Konoha, and he was given his choice. Stay in Konoha or relinquish his headband and become a wanderer who was still affiliated with Konoha. Obviously choosing the second choice, Ketsu was thrown into the wilderness, though he tackled it headfirst. After a year or so, he'd mapped out the entire Hi no Kuni which he has stored in his head due to his photographic memory.
In that time, he came across a small group of nomads who he took to a remote hill and helped them build a fort. There, he convinced them to join with him in the ICARUS Mercenary force, which still had yet to be revealed to the public eye and become as well known as Ketsu wanted it to be. For now, he needed to recruit soldiers that could actually work, as well as gain his own strength and become a good enough leader to where no one would question his rule.
